Signature Steakhouse Restaurant Nottingham

With an abundance of fresh and delicious local produce available it’s no surprise that the Signature Steakhouse Restaurant in Nottingham consistently wows diners with fabulously prepared food. Slightly off the beaten track in West Bridgford, this venue is well worth the short journey from Nottingham city centre. The interior oozes urban sophistication making it the perfect place to entertain family, friends or colleagues. If romance is on your mind then the intimate and relaxed vibe is ideal. Obviously this is the place to go for beautiful cuts of succulent beef, but the menu also boasts a variety of dishes and vegetarians have not been excluded. There are also an array of deals and special menus including a 2 or 3 course early bird menu and 2 or 3 course Sunday lunch. Light bites are also available for those not wishing to indulge.

Begin your meal with salt and pepper calamari, pan fried scallops, sautéed mushrooms or brandy and chicken liver pate served with crusty bread. The fruity lamb kebabs with chilli mayo are a popular choice and the grilled goats cheese with caramelized onion is a moreish and tangy delight. Many British restaurants in Nottingham offer a selection of starters, which can be shared and Signature Steakhouse is no exception. Couples can enjoy moules mariniere, but the real star of the show is the carpaccio of beef, which comes very highly recommended. There is a menu devoted entirely to the house speciality, steak, and guests can choose from a variety of cuts such as rib eye, sirloin, fillet, rump, porterhouse and chateaubriand.  All the steaks are cooked to the diner’s preference and only the most flavoursome, local beef is used.  Complete your steak dinner with one of three sauces on offer, Diane, peppercorn or Stilton and walnut. For those looking for the ultimate in decadence the surf and turf features any steak of your choice topped with the chef’s selection of seafood served in garlic butter.

Of course there are other options if beef isn’t your thing. The main menu includes other dishes such as tender rack of lamb on a bed of mashed potatoes with vegetables and rosemary and mint gravy, or breast of duck with a homemade rich cherry or Cointreau and orange sauce. Seafood lovers can indulge in the Signature fish pie, crispy skinned salmon or fragrant Thai prawn curry. Like many restaurants in Nottingham the dessert menu is tempting and tantalizing. Crepes Suzettes, Eton mess and a champagne and strawberry cheesecake are just a few of the delights on offer. A lovely range of dessert wines is the perfect addition to make your meal even more special.
